A Message to Our Community
I know this time is difficult in so many ways. The weather is beautiful, it is a perfect time to spend with family or friends but PLEASE do not. The dangers are frightening. We at Edge of Sweetness feel the strain of this devastating state but want you to know that we will be here when the skies open up to a bright sun, the air is fresh and clean and our health is safely in hand. This COVID-19 outbreak has rocked everyone's world but it is times like these where people step up to do what they can. Every person plays a role in our recovery. I hear of many checking in with the vulnerable, purchasing meals and groceries for loved ones and strangers alike, making masks for healthcare professionals, providing care for the ill-equipped, not to mention the efforts everyone makes to practice social distancing and support local business. Every person plays a part in combating this devastating virus.
At Edge of Sweetness we decided to close our doors to the daily traffic and offer weekly pick up days with meticulous care to preparation and delivery, dry cookie mixes and frozen cookie dough as well as shipping personal packages to your clients and loved ones.
As this horrible illness attacks our neighbors, livelihood, and precious lives, I have to go one step further. When I opened Edge of Sweetness in 2017 I had been an Intensive Care Unit nurse for 20 years and continued until 2019. My license is still active and my previous employer is in need of help caring for the severely ill as the numbers are quickly rising, this is the role I now need to make mine. This is only temporary while we all battle this fight together.
Please take all necessary precautions not only to keep yourself safe but those around you, we all play a part in taming this beast and its impact. Every person at Edge of Sweetness wishes you the best of health, please be safe!
All the best,
